My FAAAAVORITE Holiday!
I absolutely ADORE Mardi Gras, and how fitting of you, my dearest friend, to christen our very own blog on the eve of the 150th!! I remember them well, the earliest years of carnival, when you and I would hop a train for the day long ride (but who can remember the ride - HAHAHA!), then we'd give up anonymity for lent, and we could travel the streets unremarkable for a day. And by all reports, they're having as grand a time as ever. Oh thank you so much!

I'm so glad you're glad. I hope I packed enough cheese sandwiches for the long walk we'll take down to Tomahawk to freak everyone out for our own mini Party Gras! And no, I don't think the mask makes you look fat.
Oh, why has no one voted for cheese? Wonderful creamy fresh Wisconsin cheese? Cheese curds, cheese balls, cheese puffs, cheese slices, cheese pizzas, cheese sauce, cheese filling, cheese topping, cheese parades, oh Wisconsin my only true home. We are having quite a bit of fun scaring people at our own little Mardi Gras here in Tomahawk, aren't we?
